LAWRENCEBURG, TN (WAFF) -

A Tennessee woman facing trial in Alabama for sodomy is now facing charges in her home state.

Lawrenceburg, Tennessee police arrested 22-year-old Stephanie Kaye Stanton on five counts of Statutory Rape.

Stanton is being held on $100,000 bond after being accused of having an unlawful sexual relationship with a teenager.

It's similar to the charge she faces in Alabama. She was indicted by a Madison County Grand Jury in April on a Sodomy charge.

Stanton's Sodomy trial in Alabama is scheduled to begin September 8, just four days after she's scheduled to appear in court there for her newest charge.

Police fear there may be several young female victims involved, and are currently investigating allegations into other young female children.

Lawrenceburg area parents are encouraged to contact authorities if they feel that their child has fell victim to Stanton.
