HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

One of the sisters of the 5-year-old boy killed in a wreck in front of Hampton Cove Elementary School in May is set to be released from the hospital on Friday.

According to the family's blog, Sarah Brown still has some broken bones and short-term memory issues after the deadly wreck that killed her brother, Micah, and injured three other family members.

They said if nothing else comes up in her recovery, Sarah will be sent home on Friday afternoon.

Another sister, Rebekah, is still in the hospital, on the same floor as Sarah. She was moved to a general recovery floor on Wednesday.

Rebekah's brain continues to heal after the traumatic injuries she suffered in the wreck.

Five members of the Brown family were in their SUV when it collided with an 18-wheeler on Old Highway 431. The mother, Ryann, and one of her daughters, Noelle, were treated and released from the hospital shortly after the wreck.

Micah was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Rebekah and Sarah Brown suffered critical injuries and have been in the hospital since the wreck.

The children's father and two other siblings weren't in the SUV at the time of the crash.
