AIDT posts Remington job openings

Remington has begun posting listings for technicians and production staff online. Remington has begun posting listings for technicians and production staff online.
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

New information about the types of jobs that will be available at the future Remington plant in Huntsville has been released.

The Alabama Industrial Development Training website recently posted new listings for the company online. Six different positions are open on the AIDT site:

  • Maintenance technicians who will repair equipment – no pay scale available
  • Five types of various production team members to assemble, pack and ship firearms - $11.50-15.50/hour based on skills and experience

Remington said it will employ upwards of 2,000 people once the factory is up and running at full speed in a few years' time.

The arms manufacturer keeps a list of other job openings for Huntsville online.
