Troopers: Man wrecks in septic tank pump truck

CHEROKEE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

State troopers reported a man was killed when he lost control of a septic tank pump truck.

Authorities said Joshua Hightower, 28, of Leesburg was killed when his truck overturned on Monday around 1:10 p.m. The crash happened on Cherokee County 69, one mile northeast of Centre.

Troopers said Hightower was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck. This crash is still being investigated.
