Naked man arrested on DUI, drug charges

MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Deputies in Morgan County arrested a naked man Wednesday night following a traffic stop near Brewer High School.

Christopher Robert Vaughn was charged with DUI and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities made the traffic stop on Highway 67 near Blue Springs Road. Deputies said Vaughn was very unresponsive to questioning during the stop and was unable to complete any type of field sobriety test.

Authorities found nine different types of prescription medications thrown about the vehicle and two prescription bottles that didn't belong to Vaughn. Agents learned the bottles had been stolen from a Holly Pond residence Vaughn had been working at earlier in the day.

Vaughn was transferred to the Morgan County Jail on $21,000 bond. According to the sheriff's office, theft charges are forthcoming in Cullman County in connection with the stolen pill bottles.
