HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police are working to determine who is responsible for firing shots at a family's home Thursday afternoon.

It happened just after 2 p.m. at a home on the 2200 block of Norwood Drive.

The victim told officers that her children alerted her to shooting going on outside. She saw two vehicles in the roadway. She said the vehicles appeared to be shooting at a residence across the street.

Two shots struck the woman's home. No injuries were reported.

Officers collected shell casings at the scene as evidence. No arrests have been made at this time.
