LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Three women have been taken into custody in a prostitution raid.

The Limestone County Sheriff's Department raided Pine Tree Spa on Elkton Road on Thursday afternoon. The women face prostitution-related charges.

Investigators identified the women as 57-year-old Jung E. Blanton, 64-year-old Gyeong Yim Gweon, and 51-year-old Kyong Suk Kim.

Pine Tree Spa has been the target of a prostitution raid before. In 2011, two employees were arrested after an undercover sting.

Blakely said they moved in after getting reports about illicit activity. Undercover officers were sent in at different times Wednesday night and Thursday. Each time, Blakely said, the women were willing to exchange sex for money.

Blakely said during the raid they found about $9,000 in cash hidden in a piece of pipe. Blakely said it wasn't money collected for a mere massage, and he said women were regularly rotated in and out of the business.

"They change these girls out every month or every couple of weeks," Blakely said. "The house gets most of the money and part of the tips. It's nothing more than a prostitution ring."

"After what we found out today, it's probably 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Elkmont,' Blakely added.

The business has been able to operate with an active license from the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy. The board said they have no disciplinary problems with Pine Tree Spa, despite the raid in 2011.

Two FBI agents accompanied deputies on Thursday's raid. They will analyze records seized from the spa.
