ARICA, CHILE (ARICA TV/CNN) - A group of students in Chile made an incredible discovery while out on an archaeological dig, a 7,000-year-old mummy.

The find comes from the ancient Chinchorro Civilization, who lived in what are now Chile and Peru.

Authorities say human remains found in the area are among the oldest ever discovered.
