GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A Guntersville High School coach and teacher's aide has been suspended after being arrested on drug charges.

Larry Hudson was arrested May 20 by Huntsville Police. Court documents show officers discovered synthetic marijuana in Hudson's possession on Airport Road.

Guntersville Superintendent Dale Edwards said Hudson has been with the school system for one year as an aide and assistant football coach.

He has been suspended pending the outcome of a school investigation.

Hudson is the second Guntersville coach to be suspended from the school system in as many weeks. The school board voted to suspend volunteer girls' soccer coach David Barrow May 19, following charges of sexual abuse of a child and human trafficking.
