Police: Flying glass cuts victim during shooting

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police said a man was cut by flying glass after someone shot into his vehicle.

Officers were called to the 3900 block of Richland Drive and spoke to the victim. The victim told police he was turning onto Bonnell Drive from Sparkman Drive around 12:50 a.m. Saturday when an unknown person shot at his vehicle.

Police said the victim's vehicle was hit in the driver's side door and window. Authorities said the victim was hit by flying glass and had a minor cut on his ear. HEMSI treated him on the scene.

No one has been arrested yet. This investigation is pending.
