Walmart thief allegedly put DVDs in pants

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police are looking for someone who pushed a Walmart loss prevention officer while running out of the store with stolen merchandise.

It happened at the Sparkman Drive Walmart just before 3 p.m. Wednesday. The loss prevention officer told police she observed a man hiding two DVDs in his pants before heading for the store exit.

When she confronted the man, she said the man shoved her and fled the area.

The woman was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.

    A ground search ensued that lasted about four hours and covered approximately six miles, ending a few hundred yards east of Hays Mill Road where the suspects were caught in a hunting stand/shoot house.
