HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A local store was the "target" of a crime; that store being the SuperTarget in Jones Valley.

Two shoppers became two crooks when they skipped a very important step in the checkout process.

Surveillance video shows the two crooks slowly walking into the SuperTarget on Carl T. Jones Drive in Huntsville April 29.

One of the crooks is wearing a cap and jeans. The other crook is wearing a t-shirt and shorts.

The two head for the electronics department, where police say they filled their cart with $2,000 worth of merchandise.

And then they headed for the exit, bypassing the checkout counter.

These two guys used a couple of sets of wheels to pull off this crime.

First, they pulled the shopping cart to the parking lot. Then they dumped the items into a truck and pulled off.

Surveillance video shows the silver Toyota pickup truck the two were driving. If you know one or both of these guys, you could fill your cart with up to $1,000 worth of stuff - the cash being provided, of course, by Crime Stoppers.
