HOLLY SPRINGS, MS -
(WMC) - Investigators in Marshall County are looking for the criminals who terrorized a family of four during a violent home invasion late Sunday night.

Detectives say multiple suspects kicked in a door and tied up a father, mother, and two children. That was just the beginning.

The attackers raped the mother and hit the father in with a gun. Emergency crews rushed both to the hospital in Holly Springs. They're expected to recover from their injuries. The children were unharmed.

"We've got people running around in our county kicking doors in with guns and robbing people," said Detective Kelly McMillen of the Marshall County Sheriff's Department. "When you go to the extent of tying younger children and their families up, and assaulting a female while you're in there, it makes us continue to work faster and work harder to get this resolved."

The suspects stole two vehicles from the family: a Volkswagen and BMW. Investigators found one of them in Memphis, the other in Marshall county near Lake Chewalla.

They also took cash and the family's television.

Deputies believe at least three suspects are on the loose and could be in the Memphis area. Two of the men were wearing masks, but one was seen in camouflage pants, a black shirt, and black and red Nike shoes.

Investigators say they are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest. If you know anything call 1-800-729-2169.
