Lots of community support is pouring in for a family who lost their five-year-old son in a car accident Monday. Two of the Brown family's daughters are still in critical condition, according to family friends. The mother, Ryann Brown, was released and another child is recovering from minor injuries.

Pastor of the family's church, Ross Jaeger says the outpouring of support has been overwhelming and wonderful. At least 100 people wrote cards or dropped items to the family. Even strangers are reaching out to help.

"The interest and involvement has really helped the Browns know that they are loved, supported," said Jaeger.

The family's SUV collided with an 18-wheeler Monday afternoon on Old Highway 431 while turning onto Audubon Lane.

This is the only fatal accident at that intersection within the last five years. Huntsville Police said there have been approximately 50 accidents within a half mile radius of that intersection in Hampton Cove. The overwhelming majority of them were small, fender-bender type accidents.

Pastor Jaeger said the family is still working to sort out funeral arrangements for Micah, but it will likely be this Saturday. He said this accident has touched so many people in this community.

"I think every parent has held their children a little tighter," said Jaeger. "(Parents) wondered about how they would switch places with the Browns right now and how difficult that would be. So you have to go back to someplace else. A place of faith."
