Valley high school senior prank goes viral

CHANDLER, AZ (CBS5) -

A group of seniors at Valley Christian High School in Chandler decided to turn their main hallway into a parking lot.

"We opened the front doors. We had help from a staff member. (We) took out the middle post from the front door and kind of just rolled them on in which took a long time. It was a tight squeeze," said senior Cole Bradley.

"We pushed them all the way down this hallway. We took a couple measurements beforehand," said senior Tara Lau.

Lau, Bradley and at least ten other seniors spent hours Sunday rolling their cars into the hallway and outside courtyard area. When students arrived Monday, many were surprised.  Bradley says he had help from one of the school's faculty members, but he wouldn't mention who that person is.

After the prank, the story quickly picked up steam online. Hundreds of people re-tweeted the pictures and the story spread on social media sites.

"It's really cool to see this blow up so big," said Lau.

Principal Mark Bistricky said he wasn't upset by the prank, since the seniors were careful and didn't damage the school, and he welcomes another creative prank next year.

"I don't think anybody soon is going to top it, but I would really like to see somebody try," said Bradley.
