Police: Robber attacks blind man

The victim said he was robbed by a person he knew. The victim said he was robbed by a person he knew.
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police are looking for a person who attacked and robbed a blind man.

The attack happened around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday on the 3200 block of Normandale Drive.

The victim told police he answered a knock at the door and let an acquaintance into the residence. The victim said the man kicked him in the stomach and took prescription pills from his pocket.

Police said the robber left before they got there. HEMSI took the victim to the hospital with minor injuries. This investigation is ongoing.
