Decatur leaders approve zoning change for payday lenders

Good Morning!

Here's what we're working on in the WAFF newsroom:

The Guntersville High School girls soccer coach facing sex abuse and human trafficking charges, is fighting back.  David Barrow has filed a civil action against Madison County Sheriff Blake Dorning.

He claims he was held more than 48 hours without a bond and probable cause hearing. Barrow also claims investigators arrested him without a warrant.  Huntsville Police arrested him Friday at the State Soccer Tournament in Huntsville.

We'll have much more on this story beginning at 5 A.M..

Also this morning, Decatur leaders are trying to cut off the number of payday loan businesses in town.  Last night, the City Council passed a zoning restriction, that limits where payday loan, title pawn, and gold buying shops can operate.

Those stores can't be within 15 hundred feet of each other. http://bit.ly/1jmP8lQ
