JACKSON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Several stolen guns have been confiscated in Jackson County, and three people are now in custody.

Courtney Clark and Adam Allen face charges of receiving stolen property, as does Elizabeth Callahan. Callahan faces additional charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Several long guns and a compound bow-and-arrow were confiscated Wednesday evening. Sheriff Chuck Phillips said surveillance was set up in a parking lot in Woodville. He said the defendants showed up with the weapons and were taken into custody.

Phillips said the guns were believed to have been stolen from a residence in Limestone County on Tuesday. Although nine were stolen, only five were recovered. Phillips said it is good to get these weapons off the streets.

Investigators continue to search for the remaining four weapons.
