Teens arrested in Madison car break-in investigation

MADISON, AL (WAFF) -

Authorities arrested five people in connection with several car break-ins at a Madison subdivision.

According to investigators, multiple vehicles were broken into at the Ashbury subdivision off of County Line Road.

Officers first noticed a vehicle with interior lights on while patrolling early Tuesday morning. Police then reported seeing several people walking away from a vehicle speeding through the area. Investigators were able to locate the vehicle and found property they said was taken from residents living in the subdivision.

Police arrested Mathew Mosley, 18, Brandon Bolden, 19, Victoria Blankenship, 20, Dallas Carpenter, 18, and Ashley Stout, 18. All five suspects were charged with several counts of breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property. The offenders were taken to the Limestone County Jail. Bond has not yet been set.

Police continue to investigate and said additional charges may be filed in the case.
