Oak Harbor Police have confirmed that a body was found on Lake Erie and the Ottawa County Sheriff believes it is one of the missing boaters from an April 16 accident.

19 Action News has learned a homeowner made the discovery on a private Oak Harbor beach.

The body is being taken to the Lucas County Coroner's Office for an autopsy and identification.

The bodies of 33-year-old Amy Santus and 17-year-old Paige Widmer were found after the boat capsized while the occupants were fishing.
