Man wanted for questioning in Yazoo County murder

YAZOO COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Investigators with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and the Yazoo County Sheriff's Department are asking for your help locating a person of interest in the murder of Yazoo County resident Ricky Saxton.

57-year-old Saxton was shot to death November 13, 2013 in rural Yazoo County.

The person of interest was in the Fred's Dollar Store in Yazoo City on the morning of the murder.

Investigators say the person of interest is known to frequent the Jackson metropolitan and Yazoo County areas.

There is a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Ricky Saxton.

Anyone with information regarding the identity and/or location of this person of interest is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 662-746-8477.
