Wesley Medical Center and Cardiologist Dr. Raghotham Patlola Open Cardiovascular Clinic of Hattiesburg

Hattiesburg, MS, 05/05/14 – Wesley Medical Center welcomes Cardiologist Raghotham R. Patlola, M.D., as he opens the Cardiovascular Clinic of Hattiesburg. Dr. Patlola has more than 20 years of experience in cardiology and advanced knowledge in treating complex vascular conditions including critical limb ischemia, peripheral chronic total occlusions, and peripheral arterial disease. He specializes in advanced coronary interventions and venous interventions, including acute catheter based management of Deep Venous Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism.

 

 Dr. Patlola comes to the Pine Belt from Lafayette, La, where he has been in practice at the Cardiovascular Institute of the South. Intensely focused on education within the cardiac specialty, Dr. Patlola often trains physicians in treating complex peripheral vascular interventions. He is frequently asked to serve as a lecturer or faculty member for cardiovascular conferences and is a well-published author, with several journal articles and text book chapters on cardiovascular disease to his credit.

 

The Cardiovascular Clinic of Hattiesburg continues the tradition of offering compassionate, experienced care you can trust from Wesley Heart and Vascular Services. Dr. Patlola earned his medical degree from B.L.D.E. Association's Medical College Hospital and Research Center, Karnatak University, and completed his internship and residency at Long Island College Hospital; Brooklyn, NY. He completed a fellowship at the Beth-Israel Medical Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, New York and continued his interventional cardiology training at Maimonides Medical Center State University of New York in Brooklyn. Dr. Patlola is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and endovascular medicine.
