Fire breaks out at 'Wild Wings N Things'

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A fire broke out at the 'Wild Wings N Things' in west Toledo early Sunday morning.

Toledo firefighters arrived to the restaurant, on the 3000 block of W Alexis Road, around 2 a.m.

The building was fully engulfed in smoke, but crews were able to get the fire under control quickly due to quick thinking on the part of the restaurant owner.

Firefighters on the scene say the owner called 911 after receiving an alarm on his phone that something was wrong at the business.

His actions allowed firefighters to arrive early, avoiding heavy damage.

Fire crews say an electrical issue likely caused the fire. No one was injured.
