DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Decatur police arrested six people in a spice bust Friday.

During April, investigators said they received complaints of spice being sold from 1626 Beech Street, Apartment #2. After obtaining a search warrant, investigators said they made entry into the apartment on Friday and contacted numerous subjects, as well as several small children.

Deputies identified the adults as Lamar Stevenson, Jessica Cowley, Felisha Sears, Torre Orr, Chandra Warrior and Rubina Strickland.

Investigators said they found a quantity of spice and one container that was unsealed and within the reach of the small children in the residence. Investigators said they also found marijuana and numerous empty and opened packages. Deputies said DHR will be contacted concerning the children's welfare.

Stevenson was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, taken to Decatur City Jail and transferred to Morgan County Jail on a $2,500 bond.

Cowley was charged with chemical endangerment and possession of marijuana, taken to Decatur City Jail and transferred to Morgan County Jail on a $3,000 bond.

Sears was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and chemical endangerment, taken to Decatur City Jail and transferred to Morgan County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

Orr was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and taken to Decatur City Jail. While in jail, deputies said more spice was found on him. He was transferred to Morgan County Jail on a $2,500 bond.

Warrior was charged with loitering and taken to Decatur City Jail. While being booked, deputies said spice was found on Warrior, and she was also charged with tampering with physical evidence and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. She was taken to Morgan County Jail on a $3,500 bond.

Strickland was charged with possession of marijuana, loitering and three counts of failure to appear. She was booked into Decatur City Jail.
