TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Oscar Romero dedicated this one to his mother.

Cameron Amparano hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh inning Friday at Cherry Field to give the Tucson Badgers a 3-2 win over the Marana Tigers. The victory was the 400th of Romero's career.

Romero, a Tucson High School graduate, has been the head coach of the Badgers since 1990.

THMS held a two-nothing lead going into the top of the seventh but the Tigers rallied to tie setting up Amaparano's game-winning hit in the bottom of the inning.

The Badgers, who came within one win of reaching the state championship game last season, raised their record to 16-7 while the Tigers fell to 14-8.
