HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Astronauts on board the International Space Station will get a load of supplies on Easter Sunday thanks to a Space X launch Friday afternoon.

The weather and a helium leak delayed the launch to Friday. The Dragon Space Capsule began traveling for its rendezvous with the ISS and besides carrying a new spacesuit and supplies, there's a special experiment from researchers at UAH's biology department.

The launch came on a week when NASA signed a 20-year agreement with Space X, giving it use of the historic  39A Pad that launched the Saturn V rockets and space shuttles.
