AUTAUGA CO., AL (WSFA) -

The secretary of the Marbury Middle School athletic booster club was arrested Wednesday after an investigation into the possible theft of club funds, according to the Autauga County sheriff.

Sheriff Herbie Johnson said Stephanie Michelle Isabell, of Prattville, has been charged with one count of fraudulent use of a credit or debit card and one count of first degree theft of property.

Johnson said Autauga County school officials initiated the investigation in light of reports that money was missing from the Marbury Middle Diamond Club's bank account.

According to the sheriff, the investigation revealed that Isabell withdrew $3,020 from the club's account over a period of several months and converted it to her personal use.
