ASU holds Voting Rights Symposium

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

A Voting Rights Symposium, "The Role of Montgomery in Alabama Black's Struggle for Voting Rights," is being held at ASU's National Center for the Study of Civil Rights and African American Culture. 

This symposium consists of two panels, one discussing student activism and the other discussing Alabama State and the Voting Rights Movement. They are several speakers including Willie Ricks, the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, Dorothy Frazier Piedrahita and many more.
