A'ja Wilson, nation's top recruit, to pick college in ceremony

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

It's decision day for the nation's top female basketball recruit, A'ja Wilson, and it's down to South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Connecticut.

Wilson is prepared to announce her decision at the Heathwood Hall Athletics Center on Wednesday at 3 p.m. to a live television audience on ESPNU.

"I don't feel any pressure because I know deep down inside, it's up to me," said Wilson in a previous interview. "No one can tell me where I'm going to go except myself."

Wilson was named the National High School Player of the Year by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

"It means a lot," said Wilson of the honor. "I'm honored and blessed to be in this position. When I heard it, I was just surprised because there's such great talent out there, but I'm honored and blessed to be WBC Player of the Year."

The Heathwood senior is also a gold medalist with the FIBA under 19 women's basketball team.
