SPOTSYLVANIA, VA (WWBT) -

An 81-year-old man who hasn't been seen since Monday has been found safe.

Jess Edward Gratehouse was last seen by family members in Spotsylvania Monday at 11 a.m.

The Sheriff's Office said Gratehouse was located in Greensboro, NC in good condition.  He was taken to a local hospital to be checked out.

Police were concerned because Gratehouse suffers from dementia and had just moved to the area from Waller County, Texas.
