Suspect arrested after man shot in the face in Auburn

AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

Investigators with the Auburn Police Department say they've made an arrest in a shooting that happened April 12 in the 600 block of Spencer Avenue.

Jadarrion L. Spinks, 22, of Auburn, was taken into custody after being developed as a suspect in the case. A warrant for attempted murder was signed against Spinks and he turned himself in at the Auburn Police Department.

Spinks is accused of shooting another 22-year-old man in the face. The victim, unnamed, was transported to an area hospital where he remains in serious but stable condition.

Spinks has since been transferred to the Lee County Detention Facility where he is being held on a bond of $75,000.
