ALBERTVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Open house was held Monday for the Kid's Sanctuary at the Albertville Courthouse in Marshall County.

A mural was painted by a local artist in a room that will be used to house abused children or juveniles who have to be there for court.

Juvenile Judge Jay Mastin said it was designed to help the kids feel more comfortable about being in a courthouse.
