Police: Cafeteria worker attempts to sell pills at school

SCOTTSBORO, AL (WAFF) -

A Scottsboro school employee was arrested for allegedly selling drugs on Friday.

Michele Allen was booked into the Jackson County jail just after 9:30 a.m. She was charged with attempt to distribute and possession of a controlled substance.

Officials confirmed she was an employee of Scottsboro Junior High where she worked in the cafeteria.

Police received a tip about Allen and an undercover officer set up a meeting with her. She allegedly sold two Adderall pills to the officer at the back door of the cafeteria

Allen was released from jail that afternoon on a $25,000 bond.

Police said there is no evidence that children were involved.
