DPS confirms two fatalities in I-20 wreck

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - DPS troopers are working a fatal wreck on I-20 East toward Kilgore. All traffic is being asked to use an alternate route.

Details are still coming in, but we have confirmed the wreck is on I-20, just past highway 271.

DPS officials tell us that around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Eddie Allison of Dallas was driving his motorcycle on I-20, near Highway 271, when his bike collided with a tractor trailer.

DPS has confirmed that Eddie Allison and his passenger, Kamesha Allison, were both killed in the wreck. The driver of the trailer was not injured.

    The Guntersville Police Department have released news details on a double shooting late Friday afternoon that left one man dead.

    The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m., when police from multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a 911 call reporting two people had been shot on Edmonds Road.
