HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

If you've driven by the Space & Rocket Center this week, you probably noticed the Saturn V rocket awash in blue light.

The purpose is to raise awareness of organ donation. April is Organ Donation Awareness Month, and all week long, the rocket will be lit blue.

"If you talk to your family about it and tell them those are your wishes, when the time comes, everybody will know. One person could save other lives," said Bob Boyer.

Boyer received a heart transplant in 2012. He has been a professional Santa Claus the last seven years. To raise awareness about the importance of organ donation, Boyer wrote a book called A Heart Big Enough for Santa. It focuses on his transplant and Santa experiences.
