Decatur PD: Shooting victim 'uncooperative'

DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Decatur police are investigating a Wednesday evening shooting that left a man injured.

It happened around 6 p.m. at a residence on the 300 block of Cardinal Drive.

Officers found the 22-year-old victim with two gunshot wounds to the leg. Investigators said the man was uncooperative in providing them information about who shot him.

The man was taken to Decatur Morgan Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said several people were in the area at the time of the shooting. They ask if you have any information about the shooting to call Decatur Police at 256-341-4660.
