MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

It was revealed that robbery was the apparent motive in a man's death, as the case against four people charged with capital murder in Marshall County heads to the grand jury.

On Wednesday, a judge found probable cause against Shontavious Williams, Jamichael Kinchen, Derunteze Parker and Maya Morris to send the case to the grand jury.

The four were charged in connection with the murder of 22-year-old Willie Harris Coleman Jr. He was found dead at a home just outside of Albertville in early January. Testimony revealed Coleman had been shot in the face with a shotgun.

During Wednesday's preliminary hearing, it was revealed that Coleman was lured to the home via text message, and his murder was a planned hit.

Testimony from investigators revealed the four thought they were going to find drugs and $100,000 cash. Instead, they allegedly took two television sets and a handgun off the victim. The televisions were later recovered at the home of a girlfriend of one of the suspects.

Coleman's sister, Selena Coleman, said it all seems "like a bad dream you can't get rid of."

"Other dreams you dream, but you wake up. It's like a real-life bad dream," she said.

Coleman's mother said she wants to forgive, but they must pay for their crime.

"It hurts me because I look at them - in a way I want to feel bad for them. I don't feel bad for them. They need to get the death penalty," said Debbie Coleman.

All four suspects remain in jail on bond.
