Tallassee man killed in weekend crash

ELMORE CO., AL (WSFA) -

A Tallassee man died over the weekend in a single-vehicle crash, according to Alabama State Troopers. The victim is being identified as 33-year-old James Kirkley.

Kirkley's Infinity G35 crashed around 2:30 a.m. Saturday on Elmore County Road 8. That's approximately 12 miles east of Tallassee.

Authorities say the man was not wearing a seat belt when his vehicle left the roadway and overturned.

No other details regarding the crash have been released pending a completed investigation.
