Man allegedly awoken to attempted stabbing

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A man awoke to a scary situation Saturday afternoon. It happened on the 6000 block of Lincoya Drive.

John Ellison said he was awoken by his girlfriend, Tiffany Jones, stabbing at his head with a kitchen knife. The victim said he pushed her away and left the residence.

Ellison suffered two minor lacerations to his head, but the injuries were not life threatening. Jones was arrested at the scene and transported to metro jail.
