Havoc fall to Columbus 1-0 in SPHL Playoffs

The Huntsville Havoc had to play away from home Wednesday night in Game one of the SPHL Playoffs second round, moving from the Von Braun Center to the Huntsville Iceplex. The Columbus Cottomouths weren't hospitable guest. Columbus won 1-0 to take a one game lead in the best of three series.

The Havoc's Jesse Kallechy played well in net for the Havoc, with 28 saves on the night. Both teams were scoreless after the first period, but in the 2nd period Shayne STockman for Columbus scored the go ahead score that would ultimately be the final.

The Havoc with a quick turnaround, as they travel to face the Cottonmouths Thursday night at the Columbus Civic Center. If the Havoc win, a deciding game three will be SUnday back at the Huntsville Iceplex
