COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Surveillance video obtained by WIS paints a better picture of the violent fist fight that led to a shooting in Five Points over the weekend.

On Saturday shortly before 1:00 a.m. in front of Club Twist, a dispute inside spills out onto the sidewalk as the club's bouncers eject several customers.

What follows is nothing short of an all-out brawl, with one man thrown to the pavement while others continue in a melee.

This video appears to have been shot by the surveillance camera mounted directly in front of the club formerly known as The Library.

It is not clear how long the fight continues but while these images are disturbing, what happens next is even worse.

A Columbia Police Department incident report indicates a man near the club saw one of the people fighting in front of the bar, ran over and pulled him away.

The two got into an SUV and began driving out of the parking lot of the Rite Aid store on the other side of Harden Street.

As they pass a young man walking the opposite direction, he raises the gun in his right hand and fires five rapid gunshots at close range. The shooter shows no hesitation in opening fire on the SUV.

One of the slugs hits the passenger in that vehicle in the leg. Police say the driver went directly to Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital. Police have withheld the victim's identity, possibly for fear of retaliation.

On Monday, police identified the shooting suspect as 23-year-old Jacob O'Nay Green. He's charged with two counts of attempted murder and three weapons-related charges.

Police arrested Green at an apartment complex.

On Tuesday, a judge denied bond for the Green.

WIS asked for comments today from Acting Columbia Police Chief Melron Kelly. The department's spokesperson told us she's not sure what else can be said about the incident.

Police have also charged 24-year-old Shante Tabor with acting as an accessory by failing to provide investigators with accurate information. They have questioned two others caught on video.

Green is no stranger to the court system. His rap sheet shows arrests for cocaine trafficking, disorderly conduct and a January charge of cruelty to children.
