Madison City Farmers Market opening April 12 at new location

MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

The Madison City Farmers Market has moved to Trinity Baptist of Madison at 1088 Hughes Road. It will open April 12 at 8 a.m. featuring fresh produce, handmade treasures, and live music.

The market will be open Saturdays 8 a.m. to noon April 12 to September 27, and 9 a.m. to noon October 4 to November 22.

Everything sold at the Market is made by local farmers and crafters. Vendors provide a wide selection of local vegetables, fruits, cheese, eggs, meats, herbs, honey, jams, jellies, relishes, home-baked goods, plants, and flowers.

The Market is accepting volunteers for tasks such as set up, break down, and welcoming customers and disseminating information at the information booth. You can visit their website for more information.
