The Huntsville Havoc hoped to use their home ice advantage to possibly advance to the next round of the SPHl playoffs. Instead the Mississippi Riverkings looked like the team on a mission Thursday night, beating the Havoc 4-2 in game one of the SPHL playoffs.
The Havoc trailed 1-0 in the 2nd period, but would respond with a Josh Harris goal 7:59 into the period. But the Riverkings would answer yet again with a goal late in the 3nd period, and two more in the 3rd to seal the victory. the Havoc now trail 1-0 in the best of three series, and must win Friday night to keep their postseason alive. First puck drops at 7:30 at the VBC.
