DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Decatur Police arrested a man after they seized a large quantity of cocaine from his residents.

Investigators said they have received complaints about drug activity within a trailer park located on the 2200 block of Highway 20.

Thursday, investigators from the police department and Madison-Morgan HIDTA executed a search inside a home belonging to John David Sanchez. Inside, they found over 1 kilogram of cocaine with an estimated street value of $36,000. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia was also found in the home.

Sanchez was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. He is out on bond from a previous felony charge.

Investigators are looking to revoke Sanchez's bond.
