Decatur drug search results in 4 arrests

DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

A search warrant executed by Decatur Police and the Madison-Morgan STAC team resulted in several arrests Thursday.

It happened at a home on the 300 block of Memorial Drive Northwest.

While officers were executing the warrant, they located several people loitering in the yard of the home. They were detained while the search continued.

During the search, officers located crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia inside the residence.

Johnny Darryl Strong Jr. was charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jaylin Strong, Thomas Strong and Maurice Owens Jr. were arrested and charged with loitering.

Johnny Strong was transferred to the Morgan County Jail and held on $3,000. The other three were each released on $500 bond.
