4 hospitalized following University Dr. wreck

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Traffic on eastbound lanes of University Dr. was diverted to Oster Drive following a two-vehicle wreck that sent four people to the hospital Monday night.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. in the vicinity of the 3000 block of University Dr.

Police, fire and rescue squad units attended to the scene. Witnesses said one of the four people taken to the hospital was possibly ejected from the vehicle.

Officials have not released the names of anyone involved or confirmed the extent of any injuries. An investigation into the wreck is ongoing.
