HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A man convicted of sexually abusing a child will not get a new trial.

The State Court of Criminal Appeals denied Marcus Jackson's request for a new hearing.

In 2011, Jackson was arrested and charged with sexual abuse of a child younger than 12-years-old.
