Spend spring break at Joe Wheeler State Park

ROGERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Joe Wheeler State Park has some great activities lined up for the Alabama Spring Break.

The Talk of the Town Fashion Show will be held on March 24 at 7 p.m. Stores will feature booths of merchandise available for purchase (please bring cash). Doors will open at 6 p.m.

On March 22, the Running Buck Wild Extreme 5K and Fun Run was held. There will be s'mores on the patio on Sunday, with fire pits and s'more ingredients provided.

There will be music in the park on Tuesday, and March 26 is Water Sport Wednesday. On this day, paddle and pontoon boat and kayak rentals will be discounted.

Karaoke starts at 5 p.m. on Thursday, and Friday on the Faraway will feature discounted rounds of golf. Finally, March 29 is Sight Seeing Saturday.  Pontoon boat tours will be available at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Daniella's in the Park Restaurant will have a plated prime rib special on Friday night and a seafood buffet on Saturday night.
