MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Authorities arrested four people in an overnight meth bust in Morgan County.

Deputies responded to a mobile home on the 100 block of Amherst Drive, Thursday night, after receiving complaints about a strong odor coming from the residence. Agents said they observed a "chemical cloud" coming from the home when they arrived at the scene.

Authorities found an active one-pot meth lab, a gas generator and other components used to make meth inside the home.

Firefighters with the Lacey's Spring Volunteer Fire Department were called out to the scene to decontaminate the offenders.

Agents arrested Steve Travis McBride, Matthew Wayne Fowler, Teresa Ann McCord, and Bradley Michael Hudson. All four suspects were booked into the Morgan County Jail charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, trafficking meth, and possession of felony drug paraphernalia.

A raid was conducted in 2011 at the same residence where two people were arrested. None of the suspects were the same as last time, but the Sheriff said they were part of the same group of people.
