LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Lauderdale County prosecutors have brought more charges against a woman accused of stealing from the elderly.

18 new charges have been levied against Carolyn Watson, the woman accused of posing as a nurse to break in to elderly people's homes and steal medicines.

Police said she had a small child with her whom she would use in order to distract people.

Watson now faces five new burglary charges, seven counts of exploitation of the elderly, three counts of theft and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. She was initially charged with two counts of burglary.

She is expected in court Friday. Meanwhile, investigators believe there are more victims out there. They ask the community to come forward if they or a loved one has or has had any encounters with her.
